Thomas the Train Lunch
I asked Ty which napkin he wanted to take school and he picked out his Thomas napkin. Then he started going through the cookie cutters looking for a Thomas cutter. Oh, boy. The two year old has figured out how to "bento!"
Well, we do have a train, but I wasn't sure I could make it look like Thomas so I decided to freehand Thomas. Thomas is made from multigrain sandwich flats, ham, and provolone. I used a circle cutter to cut a piece of provolone for his face and decorated it with my food markers. Surrounding Thomas are pretzels. In the top right corner, Ty has strawberries and grapes, which are all cut into smaller pieces for the toddler guy! In the bottom right corner, Ty has chopped celery and cheddar.
I guess we will see if Ty thinks that it looks like Thomas!
